Firstly thank you for taking the time to visit my site, it is much appreciated.

I am Tom, a portrait and headshot photographer based in Shropshire and the West Midlands, where I live with my wife, two children, and three chickens.

As a photographer I love taking portraits. I love spending time getting to know someone and then distilling that into the pictures we create.

I take my portraits predominately on black and white film as I enjoy the way monochrome images see past what is simply on the surface, whilst film gives a physical warmth that I think is vital in capturing humanity in a portrait.

I prioritise the conversational and social aspects of a shoot. Shooting on vintage cameras is slow and I like to take the time to collaborate and create something that truly represents you.
